‎"Sometimes when we get overwhelmed we forget how big God is." AW Tozer
My daughter, Amy, posted this on facebook yesterday, and I found it so
appropriate for what our family is going through right now. I have three
close family members, my mother, brother and brother-in-law, who are
in stage 4 cancer. Quite overwhelming if you look at the circumstances.
But God is still God. And he is still in control. No matter what circumstances
we see, he sees the big picture!

Bryanna Nicole. She is a year old now. Can't imagine life without her. She is such
a sparkly little personality. She makes me feel like a queen when I walk in the door.
Her little face lights up and she has a huge smile. What a little doll.

She was not happy to be wearing the tutu Grammy made for her.
She escaped from the pose as fast as her little feet would carry her.

Surprise. I'm actually here posting...

Saw this today and knew I would do it with my granddaughters for their "craft" class.
Here is where you can go for the directions. I think kids would love this especially since it dries puffy and colored! Gonna give it a try.

Hello Blogging World...

I have been scrapping like crazy but not posting to my blog. This is a LO I did for the ABC challenge at DSO. These are two of my precious granddaughters. The letter this month is K so this picture was perfect for that.
I used the kit Sweet Caroline by Meredith Cardall. It is part of the August membership package at the Daily Digi.

Another Color Challenge and Freebie

I'm participating in the color challenge over at DSO this month and made a freebie mini-kit. I know it is almost summer but these colors just said spring to me so this little kit is called A Special Spring. There are a few more items than are shown on the preview below, just couldn't fit them in. This is also the kit I have used to create my blog deco. The download links are below the preview. If I run out of bandwidth at Box if someone will let me know I will upload them to 4shared also. I know the wait there is so irritating that is why I use Box when I can. Ok, here goes...
Here are new links to Mediafire. You need to download all four files.

Template Challenge

I have created a layout for the template challenge at the Shabby Shoppe. This is a LO of Olivia's sixth birthday party. I used the kit An Affair to Remember from the Shabby Shoppe. If you visit their blog there are some add-on freebies for that kit as birthday gifts... their blog and their shoppe birthdays.

Ok then. Until next time.... God Bless!

Just sharing some Easter photos...

These are photos of Jake's family. Aren't the kids precious. They are very lively but they are just as sweet as can be!

Jett let the girls kiss on him longer than I thought he would tolerate. Then he had had enough. The family photo was taken after a day at the beach. We were in Port St. Joe, FL, where Jake was going to preach Easter Sunday morning. We stayed at a beach house with them. We had a great time.

And here is Missy Becca, such a beautiful young lady, takes after her mother, Amy, below. They were having an Easter picnic at the park then an egg hunt.

Then we have our lovely Priscilla's family. We had an egg hunt with the girls the Sunday before Easter since we were going to be gone. Little sweeties all decked out in their Easter attire.

I love my family!!!

A New Color Challenge...

I found a new digi-scrapping site that has quite a few challenges that look like fun. They have a color challenge so I made a little paper pack for that. You should go check out the shop and the forum, etc. over at
And you can download my paper pack by clicking the link below the preview...

Happy Spring Everyone...

I cannot believe how long it has been since I have even viewed my blog let alone posted! I have been so caught up in life that I haven't been able to think about things like blogs LOL. But here I am participating in the color challenge over at DSO again. I've made some papers to share and hope someone can use them. The color palette was so springy that I couldn't resist being a part of this. The link to download is below the preview.

A Little Gift for You!

"God's people who live in our land are glorious. I take great delight in them." Psalm 16:3
Here's a little gift for you. I just loved these overlays from Donna Phillips. Had to make me some papers with them. So I thought I would share what I made. Hope someone can use them. Trusting you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are well on your way to being ready for Christmas. God Bless!
if there are problems with that link you can try this one.

Kill Kill LOL

This is a LO I did for Template Challenge 6 at the Shabby Shoppe blog. This is my grandson, Jett. He is two years old and he is a delight, and ALL BOY!!! He is intrigued with this caterpillar, but his mom said that didn't last too long. The journaling reads, "He loved it but then started saying KILL KILL, then proceeded to step on it."
I used the kit Hop Scotch from the Shabby Shoppe. I thought it was a perfect fit with the photos.
